Butch is a new addition. He was first delivered to Chantry in November 2005 and was added to the Adams' Pack Station herd when the Burgess's took over in 2006. We ordered him from an outfitter/equine wholesaler in Idaho. The other mule we purchased from these people was Fred. Fred is working out just fine, but Butch is just too darn big for our trails.
Considering our limited space and resources, the correct business decision was made in early 2009 to donate him to a ranch where he can be trained and become useful.
