Iggy is a rescue that came from Suzanne Baltzer at Santa Anita Dam. Suzanne is a part-time vet tech and often has homeless animals. This one was adopted by Kim Kelley, former pack station owner, and lived with her as a house cat. Occasionally Iggy would get out and immediately run up the Bay tree outside the kitchen window. Kim assumed that she was afraid to be outside and was hiding in the tree, but it has since been revealed that she loves to chase birds.

When the Burgesses bought the pack station, they remodeled the interior of the house and Iggy didn't have much choice but to go outside. She didn't run away and, in fact, has been a barn kitty ever since. She likes to sit on the deck and talk to store customers. Yes, talk. Iggy is very vocal. She loves to meow and be petted, but she panics when picked up. She doesn't scratch or bite, but will scream bloody murder.

Iggy was named for Igmu, chief of the mountain cat clan of Sioux Indian lore.
