Marmalade is a rescue that came from Seattle, where she lived with Sue before coming to the pack station. She had a traumatic time of the move, and for several weeks would not come in the house, instead living under a tarp that covered the moving boxes in the back yard. The scene was quite tumultuous with all the remodeling, but when things settled down, so did Marmalade.
She now comes and goes as she pleases, and spends more time in the house than any other cat. Marmalade probably doesn't help with the mouse population, but has been seen chasing spiders off the top of the outdoor refrigerator, where she likes to lie.
Marmalade was so named because her coat is the color of the preserve of the same name.
