Molly came to the pack station in 2008 as a rescue from one of the BLM Roundups. She and Jessie were trailered by Brad and Deb from Northern California and as a result of this "pair-bonding" the two of them share a stall to eat and stick together most of the time. Molly is quite shy, though not fearful. She did kick a little bit for the first couple of weeks but she has settled down and will now approach people if they are calm and still, and she is easy enough to catch.

Deb got Molly packing right away. She (Molly) was old enough since she was more than three years old and we didn't want her to become spoiled like what happened to Andy & Eeyore. This went fairly well. She did not like being cinched-up but once she accepted that she followed in line well with the string. It will be some time before we can use her for difficult or spooky loads.

Molly's name has no story, it just popped into Deb's head when she first saw her.
